Soul Food

We tried out a new (to us anyway) restaurant.  It is called Darryl's Corner Bar and Kitchen and serves soul food.  It used to be Bob the Chef's where we have had many a great Sunday Jazz Brunch.  One of the owners of Bob's opened up the Beehive on Tremont St. where you will get good food and music but it is more upmarket than Darryl's and Bob's.  We went with another couple and we all loved it.  The food, ribs, shrimp etouffee, fried chicken on a waffle and jambalaya was outstanding and the accompanying live jazz was just great.  We shall definitely be back.
